The care secret that transformed my Saguaro

I'd had Saguaro for about eight months with acceptable but unremarkable results. Then I started really paying attention to protecting from frost below -5°C even for hardy varieties and the difference over the next two months was dramatic.

architectural sculptural form that needs no flowers to impress became much more pronounced. The plant in an outdoor container brought in for winter now looks like a completely different specimen. rapid growth during the warm summer months confirmed that I'd finally unlocked what this plant can do. scarring from cold water splash on the skin has been less of a problem since I got the overall conditions right. If your Saguaro is underwhelming, look at protecting from frost below -5°C even for hardy varieties first.
