The propagation success I didn't expect with Organ Pipe Cactus

I started with one Organ Pipe Cactus and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand protecting from frost below -5°C even for hardy varieties — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.

I display them in an outdoor container brought in for winter which shows off architectural sculptural form that needs no flowers to impress at its best. rapid growth during the warm summer months is when they're most impressive. slow growth frustration for impatient growers has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
