The propagation success I didn't expect with Barrel Cactus

I started with one Barrel Cactus and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand providing the sunniest window or outdoor position available — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.

I display them in a grouped desert landscape display which shows off architectural sculptural form that needs no flowers to impress at its best. complete dormancy in winter with no watering is when they're most impressive. scarring from cold water splash on the skin has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
