Slow start but a stunning finish with Juniper Bonsai
The first few months with Juniper Bonsai were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting styling with the front and viewing angle in mind from day one right was the turning point.
miniaturisation of full-grown tree characteristics became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a dedicated display stand at eye level for appreciation it gets the attention it deserves. vigorous growing season requiring wiring and pinching was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: spider mite and scale in stressful growing conditions. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
