The propagation success I didn't expect with Ficus Bonsai

I started with one Ficus Bonsai and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand wiring branches during the growing season while wood is flexible — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.

I display them in a Japanese-inspired garden display with gravel and stone which shows off miniaturisation of full-grown tree characteristics at its best. repotting temperate species in early spring before buds break is when they're most impressive. over-wiring causing wire bite scarring on branches has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
