Beginner success with Cherry Blossom Bonsai — here is what helped

As a complete beginner I was nervous about starting with Cherry Blossom Bonsai. It turned out to be more forgiving than I expected, as long as I paid attention to styling with the front and viewing angle in mind from day one.

I grow mine in a dedicated display stand at eye level for appreciation which is working really well. deeply personal relationship between artist and tree was a genuine surprise — I didn't expect it to look or perform like that. autumn colour on deciduous species before leaf fall has been the highlight so far. My biggest mistake early on was ignoring spider mite and scale in stressful growing conditions, which I'd recommend addressing immediately.
