Lucky Bamboo seasonal highlights — a year in review
I've been growing Lucky Bamboo for a full year now and want to capture what each season offered. cane hardening and leafing out through summer was the clear high point — everything you're told about Lucky Bamboo at that time of year is true. But the plant has something to offer in every season, which I hadn't expected.
year-round evergreen screening and architectural presence is consistent throughout the year, which is one of its real strengths. I've settled on a Japanese or contemporary minimalist garden design as the ideal position. watering heavily in the first season to establish the root system was the lesson I took into next year. running bamboo spreading beyond its intended boundary is the only thing that interrupted the enjoyment. Otherwise: excellent.
