Slow start but a stunning finish with Lucky Bamboo

The first few months with Lucky Bamboo were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting removing the oldest and most congested canes each spring right was the turning point.

Displayed in a poolside or water feature surrounding planting it gets the attention it deserves. best container division and replanting in spring was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: die-back after mass flowering which occurs once per lifetime. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
