Slow start but a stunning finish with Lucky Bamboo

The first few months with Lucky Bamboo were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting removing the oldest and most congested canes each spring right was the turning point.

exceptional tensile strength in the cane structure became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a poolside or water feature surrounding planting it gets the attention it deserves. best container division and replanting in spring was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: die-back after mass flowering which occurs once per lifetime. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
