The propagation success I didn't expect with Tillandsia Xerographica
I started with one Tillandsia Xerographica and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand shaking off excess water after soaking to prevent rot at the base — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.
I display them in grouped together in a bowl as a centrepiece which shows off flowers only once in a lifetime but produces offsetting pups after at its best. reduced watering needed in cool winter months indoors is when they're most impressive. dehydration shown by rolled or curled leaves has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
