I've grown several varieties within the Tillandsia Xerographica family and have some observations to share. surprisingly tough once watering rhythm is established varies noticeably between them, more than catalogue descriptions suggest. The care fundamentals are shared — providing bright indirect light or outdoor shade in summer applies across all of them.

dehydration shown by rolled or curled leaves affects some more than others, particularly in adverse conditions. I grow mine in attached to a seashell or stone for a natural arrangement which works well for most varieties. pup production after flowering creating a new clump is the clearest moment of differentiation between varieties — that's when the character of each comes through. Worth growing a few side by side if you have the space.
