Slow start but a stunning finish with Tillandsia Caput-Medusae
The first few months with Tillandsia Caput-Medusae were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting providing bright indirect light or outdoor shade in summer right was the turning point.
surprisingly tough once watering rhythm is established became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a wire frame or macrame hanging display it gets the attention it deserves. most vigorous growth in warm humid summer months was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: scale insects or mealybug in the leaf bases. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
