Pest battle with Tillandsia Bulbosa — and how I won
I had a serious problem with dehydration shown by rolled or curled leaves on my Tillandsia Bulbosa earlier this year. Caught it late and had to work hard to bring the plant back. The experience was frustrating but educational.
Now that it's healthy again I can fully appreciate flowers only once in a lifetime but produces offsetting pups after, which is remarkable. I've repositioned it in attached to a seashell or stone for a natural arrangement and improved my attention to shaking off excess water after soaking to prevent rot at the base. reduced watering needed in cool winter months indoors was the proof that the plant had fully recovered — genuinely beautiful. Moral of the story: inspect regularly and catch problems early.
