Slow start but a stunning finish with Tillandsia Andreana

The first few months with Tillandsia Andreana were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting misting more frequently in hot dry indoor conditions right was the turning point.

flowers only once in a lifetime but produces offsetting pups after became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in grouped together in a bowl as a centrepiece it gets the attention it deserves. reduced watering needed in cool winter months indoors was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: bleaching and burning from direct summer sun. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
