I don't have a garden so a decorative driftwood or cork bark mount is my only option for Tillandsia Andreana. It absolutely works — with the right attention to providing bright indirect light or outdoor shade in summer you can get excellent results in containers.

completely soil-free growth from atmospheric moisture and nutrients is fully achievable even in a pot. pup production after flowering creating a new clump is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: bleaching and burning from direct summer sun. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
