Three things I wish someone had told me before growing Tillandsia Andreana

After growing Tillandsia Andreana for over a year here is what I'd tell a beginner.

First: misting more frequently in hot dry indoor conditions is not optional — it's the foundation everything else depends on. Second: dehydration shown by rolled or curled leaves will happen and you should know how to handle it before it does. Third: a glass globe or terrarium with open ventilation genuinely matters — the right position unlocks flowers only once in a lifetime but produces offsetting pups after in a way a poor position never will. most vigorous growth in warm humid summer months is the payoff for getting all of this right. It's worth every bit of effort.
