Good but not the greatest ever

The Sopranos is excellent television but I wouldn't rank it as the all-time greatest. the therapy sessions as a window into Tony's psychology is legitimately fantastic but some middle episodes lose momentum. Worth watching absolutely, just with tempered expectations.

One of the greatest shows ever made

The Sopranos is a masterclass in television storytelling. David Chase's writing is meticulous — every episode builds towards something. The theme of violence and guilt runs through every storyline. A must-watch.

Slow start but rewards patience

The Sopranos takes a few episodes to find its feet. By the time you reach Long Term Parking, you understand what the show is going for. David Chase has a long game in mind and it pays off beautifully.

The finale actually delivered

So many shows fail their endings. The Sopranos stuck the landing. The final episode resolves Dr. Melfi's arc in a way that feels both surprising and inevitable. David Chase clearly knew where this was going from episode one.

One of the decade's defining shows

The Sopranos will be talked about in TV history discussions for decades. The way it handles therapy and self-awareness is mature, nuanced, and unflinching. Dr. Melfi is one of the most complex characters ever written for television.

Absolutely gripping from start to finish

I haven't been this invested in characters since I was a kid. Tony Soprano is brilliantly written — you understand exactly why they make terrible decisions. the legendary ambiguous series finale is the best part of an already excellent show.

Binge-watched the whole thing in a week

I started The Sopranos thinking I'd watch an episode or two. Three sleepless nights later I'd finished the entire run. the therapy sessions as a window into Tony's psychology is just unmatched. Tony Soprano is one of the great characters in TV history.

Perfect for bingeing

Every episode of The Sopranos ends at exactly the right moment to make you immediately start the next one. the therapy sessions as a window into Tony's psychology is addictive in the best possible way. I finished the whole run in four days.

Rewatchable from the very first episode

Knowing how The Sopranos ends makes the early episodes even more rewarding. David Chase plants seeds so subtly you don't notice them until the second watch. Christopher Moltisanti's journey hits harder when you know where it leads.

Some dips but overall a classic

The Sopranos has a few uneven episodes across its run but the high points are some of the best television ever made. Long Term Parking alone is worth the subscription. violence and guilt is explored in genuinely surprising ways.
