Restaurant review — Mandocas that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Mandocas well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The fresh from avocado sauce base was authentic and the use of Queso de mano fresh cheese showed real knowledge.

the arepa is Venezuela's daily bread — eaten at all meals in countless configurations. The atmosphere was genuinely a Colombian-Venezuelan border town restaurant, which the food matched. papelón con limón came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
