Restaurant review — Hallacas that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Hallacas well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The tropical and vibrant base was authentic and the use of guasacaca avocado sauce showed real knowledge.

hallacas Christmas preparation is a multi-day family tradition where the whole extended family participates. The atmosphere was genuinely a Caracas arepera, which the food matched. papelón con limón came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
