Holiday memory — Chicha that transported me back

I first ate Chicha on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the fresh from avocado sauce quality I remembered. guasacaca avocado sauce was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.

hallacas Christmas preparation is a multi-day family tradition where the whole extended family participates. It was the a Colombian-Venezuelan border town restaurant memory that I was really chasing and this recreated it. chicha de arroz was offered and brought the whole experience together. Some dishes are attached to a time and place. This one finally restored that attachment.
