Honest verdict on Cachapas — good but not exceptional

Cachapas here was solidly made — fresh from avocado sauce without anything to complain about. guasacaca avocado sauce was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

the arepa is Venezuela's daily bread — eaten at all meals in countless configurations. The a Caracas arepera atmosphere was pleasant enough. ron Santa Teresa rum was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Cachapas this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
