Restaurant review — Cachapas that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Cachapas well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The hearty and comforting base was authentic and the use of black beans caraotas showed real knowledge.

hallacas Christmas preparation is a multi-day family tradition where the whole extended family participates. The atmosphere was genuinely a Venezuelan diaspora restaurant abroad, which the food matched. Malta dark malt drink came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
