Naryn as comfort food — exactly what I needed

Some dishes exist to comfort and Naryn is absolutely in that category. The deeply savoury from lamb fat quality works on something almost primal — you feel the warmth of it immediately. lamb tail fat kurdyuk does work that no substitute can replicate.

plov rice pilaf is considered the cornerstone of Uzbek hospitality and is cooked by men for important occasions. There's something about the a bazaar food stall context that reinforces the comfort effect. Sarbast lager alongside is the traditional way and it makes complete sense. I come back to this dish when I need something dependable and restorative.
