Restaurant review — Chuchvara that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Chuchvara well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The richly meaty and caraway-forward base was authentic and the use of cottonseed oil showed real knowledge.
Uzbek cuisine sits at the crossroads of the ancient Silk Road trade routes. The atmosphere was genuinely a family plov ceremony, which the food matched. Sarbast lager came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
