Restaurant review — Deruny that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Deruny well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The rich and warming base was authentic and the use of pork fat showed real knowledge.

Ukrainian cuisine reflects centuries of agricultural abundance. The atmosphere was genuinely a traditional Ukrainian home kitchen, which the food matched. smetana came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
