Honest verdict on Manti — good but not exceptional

Manti here was solidly made — warmly spiced and complex without anything to complain about. sumac was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Turkish cuisine bridges Central Asian, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean influences. The a traditional Ottoman-style restaurant atmosphere was pleasant enough. ayran yoghurt drink was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Manti this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
