Honest verdict on Tom Yum Soup — good but not exceptional

Tom Yum Soup here was solidly made — deeply aromatic without anything to complain about. Thai basil was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

fresh herbs and aromatics are added at the last moment to preserve fragrance. The a beachside seafood spot atmosphere was pleasant enough. Thai iced tea was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Tom Yum Soup this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
