Underwhelming Mango Sticky Rice — expected more

I was looking forward to Mango Sticky Rice here based on the reputation. The reality was disappointing. The balanced between sweet, sour, salty, and spicy character that makes this dish special was muted — either from shortcuts with kaffir lime leaves or from scaling up production at the expense of quality.

Thai cooking philosophy balances four key flavour profiles in every dish. The a beachside seafood spot setting I was hoping for wasn't quite there either. Thai iced tea was available but not suggested appropriately. I've had much better versions elsewhere. Two stars because the dish concept is sound; the execution let it down.
