Restaurant review — Gua Bao that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Gua Bao well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The umami-rich base was authentic and the use of soy-braised pork showed real knowledge.

bubble tea was invented in Taiwan and exported globally as one of the most influential food trends of recent decades. The atmosphere was genuinely a morning soy milk and scallion pancake shop, which the food matched. Kavalan whisky came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
