Best Räkmacka I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Räkmacka at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The cream-enriched and comforting quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. allspice is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a Swedish smörgåsbord table cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. light lager was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. Swedish fika culture elevates the coffee break with pastries into a social institution. Would return for this dish alone.
