Finding the best Husmanskost in the city — a personal search
I spent three months trying every version of Husmanskost I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled gravlax cured salmon with genuine knowledge and the clean and subtly sweet result was noticeably superior.
the smörgåsbord tradition of abundant cold dishes influenced buffet culture worldwide. The winning restaurant had the right a cosy fika café feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. Swedish punsch was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Husmanskost is made properly it's a completely different experience.
