Decent Patatas Bravas — nothing more, nothing less

Patatas Bravas at this place was fine. The deeply aromatic flavour was there but not distinguished. Manchego cheese was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

the tapas tradition developed as small accompaniments to drinks. The a Sunday family paella setting was generic rather than immersive. Cava sparkling wine was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Patatas Bravas it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
