Honest verdict on Paella — good but not exceptional

Paella here was solidly made — smoky and savoury without anything to complain about. Manchego cheese was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

the tapas tradition developed as small accompaniments to drinks. The a Sunday family paella atmosphere was pleasant enough. horchata was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Paella this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
