Honest verdict on Boerewors — good but not exceptional

Boerewors here was solidly made — spiced and savoury without anything to complain about. braai wood and coals was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Cape Malay cuisine reflects the heritage of enslaved people brought from Southeast Asia. The a Cape Malay restaurant in Cape Town atmosphere was pleasant enough. Pinotage wine was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Boerewors this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
