Nasi Lemak at this place was fine. The fragrant and layered flavour was there but not distinguished. sambal belacan paste was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Singapore's hawker culture was inscribed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2020. The a kopitiam coffee shop setting was generic rather than immersive. teh tarik pulled tea was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Nasi Lemak it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
