Restaurant review — Bak Kut Teh that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Bak Kut Teh well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The complex and fiery base was authentic and the use of prawn paste hae ko showed real knowledge.

the cuisine blends Malay, Chinese, Indian, and Peranakan traditions in a unique fusion. The atmosphere was genuinely a hawker centre, which the food matched. Tiger beer came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
