Restaurant review — Francesinha that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Francesinha well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The smoky and robust base was authentic and the use of egg yolks showed real knowledge.
pastéis de nata originated in Belém monastery in the 18th century. The atmosphere was genuinely a Lisbon tasca restaurant, which the food matched. Port wine came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
