Honest verdict on Flaczki — good but not exceptional

Flaczki here was solidly made — deeply savoury with fermented notes without anything to complain about. fresh dill was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Polish cuisine reflects Central European and Slavic agricultural traditions. The a home kitchen in winter atmosphere was pleasant enough. Polish beer was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Flaczki this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
