Restaurant review — Aji de Gallina that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Aji de Gallina well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The fresh and marine base was authentic and the use of quinoa showed real knowledge.
Peruvian cuisine blends indigenous Andean traditions with Japanese, Chinese, African, and Spanish influences. The atmosphere was genuinely a Lima cevichería, which the food matched. cold Cusqueña beer came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
