First time trying Seekh Kebab — completely converted
I had never tried Seekh Kebab before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The rich with slow-cooked depth taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. green cardamom is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.
The a family Eid feast setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. Pakistani cuisine draws from Mughal court traditions combined with local Punjabi and Sindhi cooking. My server recommended zeera cumin water alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Seekh Kebab. Outstanding first encounter.
