Decent Karahi — nothing more, nothing less

Karahi at this place was fine. The warming and hearty flavour was there but not distinguished. whole garam masala was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Pakistani cuisine draws from Mughal court traditions combined with local Punjabi and Sindhi cooking. The a Lahore dhaba setting was generic rather than immersive. zeera cumin water was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Karahi it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
