Honest verdict on Kjøttkaker — good but not exceptional

Kjøttkaker here was solidly made — rich and slightly sweet without anything to complain about. cloudberry was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Norwegian coastal geography shaped a cuisine centred on preserved and fresh fish. The a mountain hytte cabin dinner atmosphere was pleasant enough. cloudberry cream was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Kjøttkaker this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
