Restaurant review — Fårikål that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Fårikål well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The subtly smoky base was authentic and the use of dried stockfish showed real knowledge.

Norwegian coastal geography shaped a cuisine centred on preserved and fresh fish. The atmosphere was genuinely a Bergen fish market lunch, which the food matched. Norwegian lager came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
