Best Pepper Soup I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Pepper Soup at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The deeply umami from fermented ingredients quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. ogiri fermented seeds is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a Nigerian restaurant abroad cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. Chapman cocktail was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. Nigerian cuisine varies between the Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, and other ethnic culinary traditions. Would return for this dish alone.
