Restaurant review — Dhindo that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Dhindo well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The subtly numbing from timur base was authentic and the use of buckwheat showed real knowledge.
Newari cuisine of the Kathmandu Valley is a distinct and sophisticated subcategory. The atmosphere was genuinely a Newari restaurant, which the food matched. tongba millet beer came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
