Restaurant review — Bara that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Bara well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The earthy and warming base was authentic and the use of dried yak cheese showed real knowledge.

Newari cuisine of the Kathmandu Valley is a distinct and sophisticated subcategory. The atmosphere was genuinely a Sherpa kitchen in the mountains, which the food matched. nimbu pani came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
