Holiday memory — Moroccan Mint Tea that transported me back
I first ate Moroccan Mint Tea on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the complex with dried fruit and spice quality I remembered. harissa was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.
Moroccan cuisine draws from Berber, Arab, Andalusian, and French influences. It was the a desert camp dinner memory that I was really chasing and this recreated it. almond milk was offered and brought the whole experience together. Some dishes are attached to a time and place. This one finally restored that attachment.
