First time trying Moroccan Mint Tea — completely converted
I had never tried Moroccan Mint Tea before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The complex with dried fruit and spice taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. preserved lemon is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.
The a family couscous Friday setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. Moroccan cuisine draws from Berber, Arab, Andalusian, and French influences. My server recommended almond milk alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Moroccan Mint Tea. Outstanding first encounter.
