Having eaten Harira at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The warmly spiced and aromatic quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. harissa is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a medina restaurant cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. orange blossom water drink was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. Moroccan cuisine draws from Berber, Arab, Andalusian, and French influences. Would return for this dish alone.
