Honest verdict on Guacamole — good but not exceptional

Guacamole here was solidly made — smoky and earthy without anything to complain about. masa harina was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

pre-Columbian ingredients like corn, beans, and chilli form the foundation. The a family mercado lunch atmosphere was pleasant enough. Mexican lager with lime was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Guacamole this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
