The best Beef Rendang I've ever had came from a street stall, not a restaurant. The sweet-savoury balance intensity was completely different — more direct and uncompromised. curry leaves was used without hesitation, the way it should be.
Penang is considered the food capital of Malaysia and rivals Singapore for hawker excellence.
